Material Compounding → Frog Body Rotocast Hole Drilling High Temperature Forming Washing Insert Frog Body Color Mixing Spray Painting or UV Printing Drying Odor Dispelling Assembling Packaging Inspection Delivery

a. Compound Material
The main raw materials for frog skin are: PVC powder and relevant material. Mix these materials in a certain proportion and keep stirring. According to different proportions, frog skins of different hardness can be produced according to customer requirements.

b. Frog Body Rotocast
The equipment and tools that need to be used include:  Rotocast machine, air compressor, beating machine, water cooler, mold, spray gun, etc. When demoulding, use a spray gun to blow the inside of the mold and at the same time take out the product quickly.

c. Hole Drilling
Use a very thin heating rod to pierce all the places that need to be pierced, such as frog hook hole, water outlet hole, etc.

d. High Temperature Forming
The oven has to be used to fix the shape of the frog skin to prevent deformation.

e. Washing
Use a good quality detergent for cleaning, and wash off the oozing oil from the surface of the frog skin to increase the adhesion of the spray paint.

f. Insert Frog Body
Find a special carpenter in advance to customize a specific size stick. Install 304 material stainless steel nails on each stick. Each steel nail wears a frog skin so that the sprayer can spray many frog lures at one time.

g. Color Mixing
According to the customer's pattern design, use a small paint bucket to modulate the corresponding color paint. Each frog lure may use many colors.

h. Spray Painting
The equipment that factory need to be used include: spray gun, water curtain cabinet or spray painting cabinet, air compressor, spray paint molds, etc. The process of painting requires division of labor, among which the one who sprays the primer layer pattern has more action and needs to spray in the water curtain cabinet. Usually there is no mold required when spraying the primer layer pattern. The one who sprays the detailed pattern needs to be in the spray cabinet and needs a spray mold. Some frog lures have complex patterns and often require the cooperation of several spray painters, each of whom sprays a color.

i. UV Printing
The equipment that need to be used include: UV printer, particular printing ink, computer, etc. UV printing can also print regular spray painting patterns, but cannot print natural asymmetric gradients.

j. Drying
During the painting process, each time a color is sprayed, it needs to be dried then it is handed over to the next person to spray.

k. Odor Dispelling
After all the spray paint is completed, all the frog lures need to be spread out for odor dispelling. The time for odor dispelling will take about 24 hours.

l. Assembling
There are many frog lure accessories. For each accessory installed, there should be at least one worker arranged separately to be responsible for that single procedure. Therefore, the whole assembly process requires about many procedures.

m. Packaging
According to the different packaging methods of frog lures, different packaging procedures are designed, the entire packaging process requires many steps.

n. Inspection
Quality inspection runs through the entire production process. After each procedure is completed, the workers in the next procedure will examine the quality of the products they take over. The team leader of the painting workshop and the team leader of the packaging workshop are responsible for the inspection. Once the packaging is completed, the salesperson is responsible for unpacking and inspection. In addition, the customer may also send a person to the factory to inspect the products. In the process of inspection, the salesperson or customer often performs the following actions: Check the quantity - Take photos of cargo piles - Take photos of product details - Take photos of packaging details - Check if the barcode can be scanned - Check if the swimming action is normal - Randomly select products from mass products to check the quality carefully - Make an inspection report.

o. Delivery
Once the inspection is completed, it is necessary to arrange vehicle transportation to the designated warehouse at the port and then ship the cargo to the foreign country. The work of arranging warehouses and shipping need to be done by the help of freight forwarders. Usually customers will find a freight forwarder from their own countries (so it is generally called a designated freight forwarder, whom is not a freight forwarder provided by the supplier). Supplier needs to contact the freight forwarding company agent or branch in China to do the booking 10-15 days before delivery and arrange a delivery notification (the delivery notification includes the delivery time, address, contact person, etc.)

2. Production Lead Time
Production Period: After confirming the product shape and details, it takes about 45 to 60 days from the customer's payment of the deposit to the shipment. The customer has to be informed about the production period at the quotation stage. If the order quantity is large, the production time needs to be recalculated, and sometimes customers will choose to ship in batches to save their own warehouse resources.

3. Minimum Order Quantity - MOQ
Frog body MOQ is 200 pcs/color. If paper card or blister packaging is needed, the MOQ of packaging is 3000 sets/type. The customer has to be informed about this at the quotation stage. If the order quantity is lower than the MOQ, the cost will increase, especially the packaging cost. Only very few customers will accept the increased cost.

4. Material

a. PVC Powder (Imported Japanese PVC powder) - Frog’s skin main material

b. Plasticizers - Increase skin elasticity and toughness

c. Softener - softness and hardness can be adjusted according to customer requirements

d. Color Spray Materials - include various color paints, fluorescent oil, glossy oil, matt oil, hardware roasting paint and other color materials. Among them, hardware roasting paint is used for spraying metal baits. Besides, there are also special UV inks for UV printers.

5. Accessories

a. Fish hooks, are made of high carbon alloy material, which should have certain carbon content. If the carbon content is too high, the hook will be brittle and will break if it encounters a slight twisting force. On the contrary, hooks with too low carbon content will be softer, have low tensile strength, and are easy to be straighten. Frog lures often use double hooks, hard lures often use three-spear hooks, and other lures mostly use single hooks.

b. Hook tip transparent tube
, used to protect the hook tip from wear and tear, and prevent others from being scratched. If the packaging method used is PET box, most customers will not need transparent tubes.

c. Skirts, commonly use two kinds of materials - rubber (the cut section is cylindrical), silica gel (the cut section is flat and square), and the length is about 60-90mm. The surface of the skirt is designed by silk-screening or by adding glitter powder.

d. Split ring, it has the shape of the number 8. One end is set on the double hook, and the other end is exposed outside the frog mouth, which is used to tie the fishing line. There are a few products that use thick nylon ropes instead of split rings.

e. Blade, the most commonly used colors are gold and silver. It is used for frog lures that have no skirt.

f. Swivel, one end is connected with the blade, the other end is forged in the lead weight. It is used for frog lures without skirt but with blade.

g. Lead Weight, is used to increase the weight of the frog lure and to achieve the wanted swimming style. There are three types of lead weights for frog lures, the first is a separate lead weight, the second is a lead weight with a hook which goes through it, and the third is a lead weight with a fixed swivel.

History of China Manufacturing:

Manufacturing industry is the reason for China's rise.  For decades, China's manufacturing industry has been in a process of rapid iteration. China has flexibly handled the issue of land lease by the help of reform and opening-up, in addition to the extremely low labor costs and sufficient labor, China has successfully attracted a large number of foreign investments to build factories in China. This stage is known as the dawn of the manufacturing industry.

In 2001, China joined the WTO and China's journey to become the factory of the world officially began. China's entire manufacturing industry has been in a golden age of rapid development.

The financial crisis in 2008 was in the same year as the Beijing Olympics in 2008 as if it was destined to happen. Although the purchasing power of developed countries has declined, the number of countries that have begun to purchase from China has begun to increase. The total export value did not drop, instead it increased, and China's manufacturing industry took this opportunity to start upgrading.

Nowadays,  the most important advantage of China's manufacturing is efficiency and flexibility. China's southeast coast has a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises which Formed a tightly integrated supply chain network. The specialized division of labor in a single enterprise has reached an unimaginable level. Once there is an order, China's supply chain network can quickly restructure to get it done. As soon as the content of the order changes and the customer's innovation is upgraded, the reorganization of the supply chain network will happen again immediately. This kind of production scale, efficiency and elasticity network which is not available anywhere in the world, is the real power of China's manufacturing.

China's manufacturing has became an indispensable part of the global manufacturing industry. China's manufacturing bring very fast product upgrading and very low product price. In addition, industries in other countries cannot provide so many products for China's 1.4 billion people, therefore, it is impossible to transfer all China's low-end industries, that's why it is necessary for China to maintain a relatively complete industrial system. At the same time, the education level of China's labor is improving and it is changing from a simple labor supply to a comprehensive advantage of human resources.

Our Jiangxi Spring Fishing Tackle Factory is in the last link of the industrial chain, also is a node in the huge Chinese manufacturing. We are responsible for the integration of numerous materials and spare parts to create finished products required by the market. Our fishing tackle factory is like a cell of China manufacturing, always grown up with China's development.
